Ultrasound Referrals
We offer many community referrals to help women get connected to the resources they need to thrive. Once you have taken a free, self-administered pregnancy test with one of our client advocates, an ultrasound is your next step to confirming your pregnancy details.
Why Do I Need an Ultrasound?
It’s important not to skip this key piece to pregnancy confirmation. If you are considering abortion, it’s important to note that the FDA only recommends the abortion pill (medical abortion) to women through 10 weeks of pregnancy.
An ultrasound confirms three important pregnancy details to determine your pregnancy options:
- How far along you are (gestational age)
- The location of your pregnancy (whether it’s located within your uterus or not)
- Viability (whether a heartbeat is detected or if you’ve miscarried)
We can help you begin with a free and confidential pregnancy test appointment. If you receive a positive result, we recommend an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy. We can assist you with questions about obtaining health coverage and where to find medical care. Start getting the answers you need to move forward with confidence and clarity.
